Tasting notes: A cracking single-vineyard 100% Cab Franc from Argentina’s Uco Valley. Ripe red fruit with fresh herbal notes and a subtle hint of green pepper. Full-bodied and balanced, with soft tannins, oak and a long, elegant finish. Small-production stuff, and a great bottle for anyone looking beyond Malbec.

Food pairing: Great with grilled steak, roast beef, lamb and tomato-based meat dishes. Also very good with roasted vegetables, mushrooms or crispy tofu.
