Tasting notes: Everything you want from a good Uco Valley Malbec: ripe dark fruit, smooth tannins and plenty of flavour without being too heavy. Think juicy plum and blackberry with a little spice and a fresh, moreish finish. Steak optional, but highly recommended.

Food pairing: Brilliant with a juicy steak, obviously. Great with lamb, burgers, beef short ribs, slow-cooked meats, mushrooms or mature cheese.
